**THE ROLE**
- Trauma-Informed Service Delivery: Provide long-term support to victims of family, domestic, and sexual violence who are experiencing mental health challenges.
- Risk Assessment and Safety Planning: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety plans for victims, including children and young people, as mandated by the MARAM Framework.
- Accessible and Inclusive Support: Offer accessible services to all victims, regardless of their background, ensuring that support is tailored to their individual needs.
- Care Coordination and Case Management: Coordinate care and case management for victims, connecting them with trauma-informed mental health services.
- Promoting Healing and Recovery: Assist victims in their journey towards healing and recovery from the trauma they have experienced.
- Strong Advocacy and Change Agent: This individual will be passionate about advocating for survivors of family violence and driving systemic change. They will be committed to promoting policy and practice reforms to address the root causes of family violence.
- Valid Victorian Driver's Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
- A tertiary qualification is required in Social Work (preferred) or appropriate qualification, as per Royal Commission Recommendation 209 - Mandatory Minimum Qualifications for Specialist FV Workers and experience relevant to this position.
