Patient Liaison Secretary (Administrative Officer Level 2A) – Cardiology Department, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Local Health District (NSW Health).
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time up to February 2026, with possibility of extension

Remuneration: $1,291.19 - $1,309.70 per week + Superannuation

About The Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a leading public hospital with a long history of serving local, statewide, national and international communities. The unit provides Cardiology and Echo Services, and this role offers administrative and secretarial support to the Department, ensuring efficient operation through coordination and duties that support the department and Sydney Heart Centre. The successful candidate may be required to work flexible hours and provide cover for other secretarial and administrative staff as needed. The role collaborates with the Business Manager Cardiology, Echo Department Supervisor and the Head of Department Cardiology.

Ideal Candidate
Excellent typing skills (from digital voice dictation) with knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Department of Cardiology and Echo Services.
Coordinate workflows and contribute to the efficient running of services.
Share responsibilities with other cardiology secretarial positions and provide cover for other secretarial and administrative staff as required.
Complete Cardiology related tasks when short staffed, and perform other duties as directed by the Business Manager Cardiology, Echo Department Supervisor and the Head of Department Cardiology.
