**The Opportunity**

Based at our Dandenong Head Office, the Claims Administrator works closely with our Insurance Claims Officer in managing all claims for Ventura.

**This is a Part Time position: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.**

**Duties of this position will include**:

- Managing complex claims and recoveries as a result of accidents
- Prepare and send routine correspondence and other documents using company templates
- Actively seek to recover losses from liable third parties
- Assist in the settlement negotiation process
- Act as an advocate for the company and determine legal and/ or technical responses to both insurers and individual third-party liability claims
- Investigate validity of third-party claims, quantify losses and negotiate compensation with third parties
- Data entry of incident reports and processing of other claims related information (TIMS - Transport Integrated Management System)
- Liase with both internal stakeholder and external suppliers to establish and maintain effective and appropriate administrative processes

**About you**
- Previous experience as an Insurance Claims Officer highly regarded
- Superior communication skills, verbal and written delivering amazing customer service both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and investigating skills
- Ability to adhere to comprehensive compliance standards
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidently liaise with other internal/ external customers in a respectful and professional manner
- Strong willingness to learn
