About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to kick-start their career as a Legal Administration Assistant with a highly regarded family law firm. In this role, you'll provide administrative support to a team of Solicitors and Paralegals, assist with Reception duties, and benefit from ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development in a supportive team environment.
Duties
Some of your duties will include, but not limited to;
* opening new files
* editing & amending legal documents
* mail collection and distribution
* monthly preparation of client bills
* attending to photocopying, scanning and sorting documents and correspondence for the team
* answer overflow telephone calls for the team
* liaison with clients and other parties
* archiving and closing of files
* relief reception
* other general administrative duties as required to assist the team
Skills & experience
Ideally you will have:
* 6 to 12 months' previous experience working in an office environment
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Completion of a Certificate in Legal Business Administration or similar qualification (highly regarded)
* Friendly and flexible team attitude
* Genuine willingness to learn and grow within the role
