**Our Journey**
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide executive support to the General Manager/Director of Nursing Monash Children's Program and General Manager Women's and Newborn Program.
The children's program provides paediatric services for Monash Health across four inpatient campuses as well as ambulatory and outreach models of care. It is one of Australia's largest providers of paediatric care. The 230 bed dedicated Monash Children's Hospital at Clayton is also a tertiary campus. The Women's and Newborn Program are responsible for Maternity, Neonatal, Gynaecology and Children's services.
This role is based onsite at Monash Children's Hospital Clayton, working Monday to Friday (38 hours per week).
**A Day in the Life**
Working closely with two busy General Managers, you will provide support to them so that their days run smoothly, all the while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes supporting the management of the Monash Children's Hospital Site under the leadership of General Manger/ Director of Nursing Monash Children's Program.
Some of the key responsibilities will include: managing diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes of meetings and attending to follow up items. You'll also prepare executive level presentations and gather documentation for the Chief Executive briefings. You'll work with a highly professional team in a supportive environment where you can make a real contribution to the efficient and smooth running of the Program.
**About You**
You are an experienced EA or PA who demonstrates a flexible, can-do attitude and strong organisational, communication and time management skills. Your proactive approach and ability to "think on your feet" when responding to changing demands will serve you well in a dynamic environment. From time to time, you will also engage with patients in sensitive and confidential matters, so your ability to demonstrate empathy is imperative. You're an exceptional team player who builds trust readily and you are also highly IT proficient. Previous experience in a large, complex organisation is preferred although a healthcare background is not essential.
