Medical Secretary Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled medical secretary to fill a part-time role in our Melbourne-based specialist clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet patients upon arrival
* Establish effective relationships with hospitals and other healthcare practices
* Prepare and type letters as required
* Maintain accurate records of all billing and accounts
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Private billing experience, including generating quotes and verifying funds
* Proven experience working within a specialist clinic environment
* Proficiency with Genie software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills
