**The Opportunity**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Legal Secretary (Practice Executive) to join our Planning, Access & Environment team in Melbourne on a permanent, full time basis.
Practice Executive's provide high level Legal Secretarial and Executive Assistant support to Partners within your designated division. You will assist with the development of comprehensive knowledge of clients, markets and work streams.
Some key areas of responsibility will be:
- Practice and Client Management
- Preparation and reconciliation of monthly bills and expenses
- Extensive Diary & Travel Management
- Business Development/Marketing (assisting with regular updating of partner CVs and assisting with pitches and proposals)
As a Legal Secretary (Practice Executive) you will play a pivotal role within the firm. You will work closely with, and delegate general administrative tasks to our dedicated hub of Team Assistants & Team Executives.

**About You**:
Professional skills and competencies you will present include:
- 3+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant within a legal environment.
- High degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence and presentations.
- Understanding of billing procedures, and working knowledge of Elite 3e/a similar billing system.
