The Recover@Work Partner plays a vital role in supporting and guiding colleagues through work-related and non-work-related case management, focusing on strategies for rehabilitation and recovery at work.
\
This position is responsible for applying early intervention claims management strategies and approved initiatives to all work-related and non-work-related injury/incidents.
\
The Recover@Work Partner develops and monitors meaningful recover@work plans, ensuring that claims are lodged within legislative timeframes.
\
They work closely with injured employees, their managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues hindering sustainable recover@work, gathering relevant medical information as needed.
\
Furthermore, this role ensures that claims management strategies align with the organization's overarching business performance objectives, including reducing workers' compensation premiums and claims costs.
\
Effective communication is key, as the Recover@Work Partner regularly communicates with injured employees, their managers, insurers/claims agents, nominated treating doctors, RTW specialists (if allocated), and others involved in the claim.
\
Additionally, they may attend claims reviews with Insurers, which may require interstate travel.
\
