Position Summary
The Junior Administration Assistant supports the daily operations of an office by performing a variety of office and clerical tasks. This role is essential for maintaining an organised, efficient, and productive office environment. The Junior Administration Assistant is responsible for assisting staff, managing office communications, and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Answer phone calls, take messages and welcome guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor for internal and external stakeholders.
* Perform general administrative duties necessary for the smooth operation of the office, including but not limited to: upkeep of kitchens, keeping meeting rooms clean, covering reception, preparing and fulfilling tea and coffee orders, ensuring stationery areas are stocked, unpacking and checking invoices in the stationery room, organising printer and toner cartridge supplies, keeping fridges tidy, cleaning the office, moving and assembling furniture, managing the key register and general filing.
* Provide administrative cover elsewhere when required.
* Update and maintain physical and electronic filing within various software platforms.
* Postage mail daily and operate the franking machine.
* Collect and deliver documents from clients.
* Assist with the set‑up of internal and external events.
* Reconcile credit card charges for all business services corporate cards.
