Safety & Compliance Administration Officer
Butler Freight Services Extras is a privately owned Transport and Warehousing business located in West Melbourne.
We have a rich history in the industry and an unsurpassed passion and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Our fleet utilises approximately 140 prime movers per day and includes a variety of combinations such as 15 Super B-Doubles, 20 B-Doubles, 16 Sideloaders, over 80 retractable skels, tautliners, and more than 110 general trailer combinations.
We currently have an opportunity in our Safety and Compliance Department for a Safety & Compliance Administration Officer.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
1. Assisting the Safety Manager and the Equipment Manager
2. Conducting weekly and quarterly audits for NHVR compliance
3. Exception reporting related to fatigue and discussing issues with drivers
4. Processing invoices and allocating costs to trucks/trailers in the Gearbox System
5. Scheduling inductions and driver assessments
6. Updating systems, documents, and manuals
7. Assisting in streamlining processes across business units
8. Collating data across various business sites
