integratedliving is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing aged care home care services throughout regional, rural, and remote communities across Australia.
Our focus is on delivering better health outcomes for Australians, supporting them to live independent and active lives by providing a range of health and wellbeing services for older people and their families.
Your Role
As the Assistant Company Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the functions of the Company Secretary and ensuring the effective administration of the organisation.
This position is essential for maintaining compliance with statutory obligations and fostering effective communication between the board and stakeholders.
You also be instrumental in identifying opportunities for improvement within our governance processes and controls and implement best practice governance frameworks and initiatives.
You will also assist in preparing agendas, taking minutes during meetings, and maintaining official company records. You will also be involved in the preparation of reports and updates for senior management and the board.
This is a Melbourne based, 100% work from home role.
About You
With an acute eye for a detail-oriented and strong organisational skills, you will also possess a strong understanding of corporate governance practices.
You will also have:
* A relevant qualification in Business, Law, Governance or related field.
* Experience in corporate governance, ideally within a not-for-profit environment.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practice frameworks and initiatives.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* An ability to build relationships with key stakeholders to achieve compliance outcomes.
