OverviewBand 4 - $75,804 - $80,333 per annum (plus super)Temporary Full time (2 years)About UsLocated 35km to the southeast of Melbourne, Greater Dandenong City Council covers 129 square kilometres and has a population of over 169,000 people.

We invest in the development of our people, and we strive to be a workplace that is respectful, engaged, accountable, creative and honest.About The RoleWe are seeking a self-motivated and proactive administration officer to help deliver administrative support to the community amenity department for animal control, local laws, parking compliance, prosecutions and school crossing programs, to ensure activities, systems and procedures operate in the most effective and efficient manner.This position is based in Dandenong, with hybrid work arrangements negotiable.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:Well-developed administrative skills supported by a tertiary qualification (Certificate III or higher), or significant work experience in a similar role.Highly effective interpersonal skills, incorporating verbal and written communication, listening, liaison skills, as well as excellence in customer service delivery.Advanced PC literacy incorporating MS Office applications along with proficiency in the use various software products including Objective and Tech 1Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, prioritise and manage workloads in a multi-disciplinary environment to meet deadlines.Candidates may also be shortlisted for a formal interview during the advertising period.Please ensure you address the key selection criteria outlined in the position description as part of your application.The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
