The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the leading membership organisation for training, accrediting, and representing psychiatrists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. About the Role
This is a part-time (0.4FTE), fixed-term (8 months approx.) position to provide administrative support to federated Training Committees, primarily the West Australian Psychiatry Training Committee (WAPTC). The preferred working schedule includes Monday in the office and Thursday working from home; however, we are flexible with this arrangement. The only requirement is attendance on the third Thursday of each month, either in the office or remotely, for the WA BTC meeting.
Duties include, but are not limited to, providing support for the Committee Chair, undertaking data audits, maintaining committee and training program records, and fostering good relationships between federated Training Committees and the central College.
Key tasks include:
* Supporting the planning of WAPTC meetings, including agenda and documentation preparation, attending meetings to take minutes, and monitoring and actioning outcomes.
* Providing clear and accurate advice related to training programs and Training Committee operations to internal and external stakeholders.
* Contributing to the development and review of policies and procedures and undertake reviews of standard operating procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement of Training Committee administrative operations.
What You'll Bring
* Relevant qualification in administration or education and/or experience in an education setting preferred with specific student administration or membership-related role desirable.
* Experience in preparing agendas, recording minutes, and executing action items.
* Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs, including Excel and Outlook, and a sound understanding of databases.
* Understanding of workplace-based assessment and medical education would be highly regarded.
* Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
* Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.

* Salary range from $64,533-$77,398 pro-rata total remuneration package (TRP) per annum inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.
* A paid day off each month for full-time employees (pro-rata for part-time employees).
* 12 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers.
