Own committees. Influence governance. Help build something better.
This is not a BAU Co Sec role.
It's a newly created opportunity within a large, complex, ASX‐listed environment where the Company Secretariat function is being reshaped. If you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, improving how things are done and operating close to senior decision‐makers, this one is worth a look.
You'll step into a visible, committee‐facing role with real ownership from day one – not just supporting governance processes, but actively uplifting them.
What you'll be doing
* Attending Board Committee meetings and preparing high‐quality minutes
* Managing end‐to‐end committee processes, including actions and follow‐ups
* Reviewing Board papers and driving improvements in quality and clarity
* Supporting corporate reporting and regulatory obligations
* Contributing to governance uplift and process improvement initiatives
What they're looking for
This will suit a lawyer with 6–8 years PQE who can hit the ground running and enjoys being close to the action.
You'll bring
* Legal background (essential)
* Experience in Company Secretariat or governance, ideally committee‐facing
* Strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to operate autonomously yet work in a collaborative environment
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a complex organisation
Nice to have (but not deal breakers)
* Financial services or other regulated environment experience
* Exposure to ASX‐listed reporting
