Senior Legal Collections Coordinator (Debt Recovery Paralegal)

DebtManagers are seeking a technically strong Debt Recovery Paralegal with demonstrated experience in civil litigation across all Australian jurisdictions. This role will suit a candidate with sound procedural knowledge, strong file management capability and the ability to independently manage matters from pre‐litigation through to enforcement.

What you will be doing:
* Preparing and managing legal documents across Australian jurisdictions, including Statements of Claim, Default Judgments and Enforcement Orders.
* Progressing matters from commencement through to enforcement, ensuring deadlines and compliance obligations are met.
* Negotiating payment arrangements and addressing non‐compliance with court orders.
* Maintaining accurate file notes, legal records and compliance documentation.
* Liaising with solicitors, courts, process servers and internal teams to ensure efficient file progression.
* Conducting investigations and skip tracing to support enforcement outcomes.
* Ensuring adherence to relevant consumer credit, privacy and civil procedure legislation, escalating hardship or dispute matters as required.
* Contributing to reporting, audits and continuous process improvement initiatives.
