We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant for a temporary assignment within a Catholic education environment based in Melbourne's inner suburbs, with strong potential for permanent appointment following the initial contract period.
This role will see you providing high-level, confidential support directly to the CEO. It will suit a highly organised professional who understands the unique culture, governance, and operational frameworks of Catholic schools or Catholic education offices.
About the Role
Reporting to and supporting the CEO, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the executive office. This is an immediate start temporary opportunity, offering circa $60.00 per hour + superannuation, with strong potential for permanency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive-level support to the CEO
Manage complex calendars, meetings, and correspondence
Prepare reports, briefing papers, agendas, and confidential documentation
Coordinate board and committee meetings, including minute-taking
Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO
Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Proven Executive Assistant experience supporting a CEO or senior executive
Experience within the education sector
Strong preference for experience in Catholic schools or Catholic education environments
Understanding of Catholic education structures and governance
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism
Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
