Located on the outskirts of Geelong within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, The Geelong Clinic is a 73-bed Psychiatric Hospital, offering a range of inpatient, day programs, and outreach services. Due to changing staff circumstances, an exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join our team.
Are you an experienced and driven professional with a passion for healthcare operations? We’re seeking a dynamic Administration Manager to join The Geelong Clinic and lead the delivery of efficient, high-quality administrative support services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a commitment to enhancing patient care through operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee daily non-clinical operations, manage administrative staff, optimise workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
As the Front Office Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Understanding of hospital administration processes from pre-admissions to discharge, including informed financial consents, private health funding eligibility, patient accounts, billings, debtors collection, and accounts payable.
Managing rosters, staffing, and supervision of staff including reception, pre-admissions, discharges, billing, theatre bookings, process review, and ongoing change management.
Handling enquiries and complaint resolution.
Working knowledge of patient management systems (Webpas and Zedmed) and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in managing and leading a team.
Direct reports may include catering and environmental departments.
