About the role
Reporting to the Import/Export Manager, the Administration Officer Import/Export will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient and compliant import/export operations.
This role is best suited for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment where accuracy, customer service and teamwork drives success.
Responsibilities
Maintain and build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accurate data entry and system integrity
Ensure full compliance and accuracy in customer stock documentation and stock movement records
Support operational teams to achieve customer service targets
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers
Assist with coordinating and securing wharf slots when required
Success Profile
Demonstrated working experience in a similar role within Import/Export domain is crucial.
Experience with Victorian Wharf Booking System (1Stop) is highly desired.
Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills with a professional approach to customer and stakeholder interaction.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
A high-level understanding of customer needs and expectations.
