The Opportunity
As the Waste Administration Officer, you'll provide a high level of administrative support for the Council's Waste and Resource Recovery Unit, ensuring that administration is conducted in an efficient manner and to a consistent high standard.
You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, assist with data entry, report entry, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
This is a part time 0.5EFT, ongoing position.
Key Selection Criteria
Relevant qualification in administration or office management and/or a minimum of 2 years' experience in administration role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well-developed I.T. skills and knowledge of relevant software.
Ability to work in a team environment and the ability to operate independently when required.
Ability to use initiative and willingness to learn.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Able to manage time and workload.
If successful, you will need to undertake a police check.
You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
