The Opportunity
The Community Facilities Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the administrative functions of the Sport & Community Facilities team specifically related to community facilities.
This is achieved by:
* Providing a high level of customer service and administration relating to the use of Council community facilities
* Supporting effective relationships with users of Moonee Valley City Council's community facilities
* Working in conjunction with relevant Council departments to ensure that Council's sporting facilities continue to provide an attractive, clean, safe and well-maintained environment for users
* Supporting the key operational outputs of the team including bookings, invoicing, usage monitoring and business information management.
* Represent Council professionally when liaising with facility users
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
* Manage the casual bookings for Council's community facilities
* Manage community facility access
* Support the management of facility usage data and information
* Represent Council at meetings with facility user groups (sometimes outside of business hours)
* Work closely with the Senior Community Facilities Officer and wider team to ensure positive relationships are maintained with facility users
* Maintain vital records to ensure up-to-date data and information management
Skills & Experience
* Degree or Diploma in Recreation or Sport with some work experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience
* Experience in customer and stakeholder management
* Experience in process, policy and/or systems improvement
* Demonstrated competence and experience in Microsoft Office software, including proficiency with Word and Excel, as well as a good working knowledge and ability with relational databases such as Access
* Current valid Victorian driver's licence
