About our client
We are currently partnering with a growing and reputable company seeking a Mandarin-speaking Accounting & Operations Administration Officer to join their friendly and collaborative team. Our client is specialised in Industrial automation and engineering solutions (spark plugs etc) located in Epping. This role offers a balanced mix of accounting and operations administrative responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily bookkeeping, financial records, and accounting transactions with accuracy and efficiency
* Oversee invoicing processes and coordinate supplier and client payments
* Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
* Process, reconcile, and monitor company expenses and financial activities
* Prepare financial reports, management reports, and supporting documentation
* Liaise with external accounting firms and service providers as required
* Provide high-level administrative and operational support to management
* Coordinate office operations, maintenance, facilities, and vendor services
* Support Head Office reporting requirements, logistics coordination, and operational activities
* Maintain company records, compliance documentation, and internal administrative systems
* Handle any ad-hoc duties requested by manager
Requirements
* University degree
* Native or business-level proficiency in Mandarin language
* Ideally 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and office administration
* Previous experience working with Japanese companies, Japanese clients, or exposure to Japanese business culture will be highly regarded
* Japanese language skills or experience living/studying in Japan is advantageous (But not necessary)
* Strong organisational, coordination, and time management skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems
* Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Resident, Partner Visa, or Australian Citizen)
* Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement including 2 days WFH
* Able to commute to the office with your own transportation (recommended)
Please note: This is a permanent full-time opportunity. Working Holiday and Student Visa holders are not eligible for this position.
