About The Role
The primary role of the Senior Administration Officer is to provide support to the Team Leader Administration – Community Amenity and Compliance with delivering administrative support to the Community Amenity and Compliance department.

This role partners with stakeholders across the organisation to enhance team capability, implement innovative solutions and support a culture of collaboration and excellence to ensure activities, systems and procedures operate in the most effective and efficient manner.

This position is based in Dandenong, with hybrid work arrangements negotiable.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:

* Well-developed administrative skills supported by a tertiary qualification (Diploma Business Administration/Management or higher), or significant work experience in a similar role.
* Well-developed skills to resolve complex problems or address minor issues with team members, customers, other departments and authorities (within delegated authority) and in the context of a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community;
* Advanced PC literacy incorporating MS Office applications along with proficiency in the use various software products including Objective and Tech 1; and
* Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, prioritise and manage workloads in a multi-disciplinary environment to meet deadlines.

Candidates may also be shortlisted for a formal interview during the advertising period.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
