Job Description
The Patient Services Department & Consulting Suites require a highly skilled administration officer to maintain high-quality services including reception, patient admissions, accounting services, and general administration duties.
Responsibilities
* Financial Governance for patients
* Scheduling and follow-up of patient appointments
* Liaising with staff of different departments, other hospitals, and key stakeholders
* Preparation and maintenance of medical records and clinician support
* An understanding and awareness of the importance of integrity in data and business processes
* Quality improvement process
* Assisting in the timely management of patient flow pathway
* Other administration and clerical duties including ward administration
Requirements
* Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Have the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
* Exceptional Computer Literacy
* A positive manner and excellent customer service
* Strong attention to detail
* Be flexible to work across departments when leave cover is required
* Flexible working hours including evenings and some weekends
* WebPas Hospital system experience will be highly regarded
