Synopsis:
Haileybury is seeking a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our Brighton campus. This Part Time (0.4 FTE) Fixed Term position requires work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Due to operational requirements, these days are not flexible.
As a key member of the campus administration team, the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant will support the smooth and efficient running of the Main Reception. The role provides high quality administrative and customer service support to students, families, staff, visitors, and the wider school community. As the first point of contact, the position is responsible for managing enquiries and completing essential administrative duties that contribute to the effective daily operations of the campus.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Manage reception operations, including the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and email.
Provide efficient and professional responses to parents, staff and student enquiries via email, phone, myHaileybury and in person.
Undertake student-related administrative tasks, including attendance support and detailed database management (including Yearbook data).
Coordinate complex diary management and room bookings.
Perform general administrative duties, including printing, laminating, data entry, stationery management and providing support to the Health Centre.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of campus events, including termly Saturday morning school tours.
Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Campus and Personal Assistant to the Head of Campus.

Minimum 3 years' experience in reception or administration with strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
