Full time, ongoing roleSalary commensurate with experience: $117,551.83 - $119,899.26 per annum plus superGenerous salary packaging options availableThe roleWe are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level, confidential support to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer's at Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA).This is a dynamic role where you'll manage complex calendars, coordinate senior stakeholder meetings, prepare high-quality documentation, and support governance and board administration.
You'll also play a vital role in fostering collaboration with the University of Melbourne, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, government partners, and internal leaders.The position requires someone with excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can anticipate executive needs while handling sensitive matters with discretion.Your skills and experienceTo succeed in this role, you will bring:Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, including calendar and email management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangementsHigh level written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to prepare quality documents, reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting papersStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersProven capacity to manage competing priorities under pressure, with high attention to detail and sound judgementExperience providing governance and secretariat support, including preparation of board papers, agenda management, accurate minute-taking, and compliance trackingHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook), virtual meeting platforms, and administrative systems.Previous experience working in a medical research, university, or health setting will be highly regarded.All offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.About CERAThe Centre for Eye Research Australia is a not-for-profit and an international leader in eye research with real world impact.
