**The Company**:
A wonderful events supplier based in Melbourne are looking for a new Events Administration Manager to join their team permanently. The supplier have high end premium products that they hire out to venues and events right across Australia. They are well known for their modern and stylish equipment, their team has a great together approach as they have a team of 12 staff in the office.
**The Role**:
To assist with the growing brand and team we're on the lookout for an exceptionally talented administrator who loves a to-do list, can stick to a plan, knows their way around a spreadsheet and wants to make a difference in their team and workplace. They are a meticulous, process driven and dynamic company that aims to provide all staff with an enjoyable and supportive workplace allowing for positive work-life balance. To find the right person to suit this company's ethos and culture this role is open to someone looking for Part-Time (25-30 Hours) or Full-Time applicants.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Day-to-Day Administration: working within our administration team on database management, process improvement, HR administration and data entry.
- Company Administration: control and maintain external business administration; utilities, banking, communications, insurance etc.
- IT & Communications: working with our staff and IT contractors to maintain systems and communications.
- Process Improvement: help us better improve our event systems, product offering, customer service and logistics to deliver our clients the best event experience possible.
- Maintain our internal hiring software and stock management systems:
- Provide daily / weekly / monthly reporting back to senior management on all areas,
We're looking for a passionate and like-minded person who demonstrates experience in administration and management-based roles with the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and systems. This role is looking for someone that has events experience, so as to understand our company and what we do in the industry.
- Demonstrated experience in an Administration Management, Office Management or similar role within the events industry
- Product knowledge and an overall interest in events and event suppliers
- Very strong IT skills are essential in this role - a savvy computer operator who is adaptable and a quick learner,
- Display ability to produce results in a timely and accurate manner, problem solve, think on your feet, and communicate efficiently,
- Be a team player who can guide and assist team members to achieve team targets, while also being self-disciplined and motivated to achieve and strive for individual targets.
