HumeLink West Project
UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle in regional NSW and will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia’s eastern states. HumeLink is one of the state’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 385kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.
HumeLink West scope of work worth $1.4bn will include delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines from Wagga Wagga Substation to the new Gugaa Substation, from Gugaa Substation and the Interface Point to Maragle Substation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the HumeLink West team.
Please note this role will be based in Sydney for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West delivery team.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage and maintain all non-design related controlled Joint Venture documents
* Update and control documents and forms
* Maintain the document hierarchy and process systems
* Ensure all documentation meets contractual requirements and required standards before submission to the client
* Coordinate the flow of documents between project operations, Design team, quality assurance, and other departments in cooperation with client document control representatives
* Assist in auditing and document validation
* Train employees on document control processes and procedures
About You
* Minimum 2 years of experience in construction document control
* Excellent proficiency in using Teambinder, preferably with administrative experience
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in document formatting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently
* Capable of managing time effectively and working independently with minimal supervision
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
