Overview
Executive Assistant to the Precinct Lead at Austin Health, reporting to the Manager of the Department of Surgery under Melbourne Medical School. Provide crucial support across university and hospital environments, manage complex schedules, enable collaborative research activities, and liaise with diverse stakeholders. This role supports medical education and research at a leading institution.
Responsibilities
* Provide Executive Support: Manage the Precinct Lead's schedule, correspondence, and administrative needs across multiple roles in the university and hospital.
* Coordinate Research Activities: Support research groups with administrative tasks, including development of grant applications, ethics submissions and research meetings, facilitating progress of medical studies.
* Manage Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key liaison between the Department, hospital staff, and external partners with diplomacy and discretion.
* Oversee Administrative Processes: Ensure smooth operation of departmental activities, including honorary appointments, staff reviews, and committee support.

Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Strong project and event management skills.

* Experience in committee support and minute-taking.
* Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, Teams, and ideally university-specific systems.
* Comfort working in both university and hospital environments.
