**Our Journey: About the MHTP Clinical Trials Centre**
The MHTP Clinical Trials Centre is located in Monash Medical Centre within the Monash Health Translation Precinct. This unique, specialised Centre has 21 treatment chairs, 8 beds and 10 consulting rooms offering clinical support to the numerous research/trial units within Monash Health, catering to all phases of clinical trials. Voluntary patients with malignant and non-malignant disease are treated with investigational products, administered by varying methods of delivery. Our goal is to contribute to the advancement of research success by providing high quality care.**We are seeking an ongoing part-time Administration/Customer Service Officer to work Tuesday 07:30-16:00 and Wednesday and Thursday 08:00-16:30**
**A Day in the Life: About the role**
This exciting patient facing role is responsible for providing a customer focused service to Monash Health patients, their families/carers, visitors and staff attending the Clinical Trials Centre. Working in a busy team based environment, the position requires efficiency in all aspects of administration and reception duties. The role is multi-skilled and will encompass admissions and discharges, answering phone inquiries, booking patient appointments, setting up outpatient clinics and general administration/reception duties.
- Play a key role in supporting the effective management of a busy centre dedicated to clinical trials
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Create an excellent first impression of Monash Health by providing a friendly, courteous and professional greeting to all that come to the Clinical Trials Centre

**What you need**:
- Experience in Hospital Administration is essential
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
