**Your new role**
Reporting to Manager City Works, you'll
- Provide effective leadership and management of the Waste Operations & Resource Recovery Centre Teams
- Maximise the outcomes of the Waste Operations & Resource Recovery Centre unit to Council, customers and the community
- Make a valuable contribution to the broader leadership and management of the Operations & Capital Division and the organisation as a whole
**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as having a tertiary qualification in waste management or environmental science, you'll have:
- Experience in either contaminated land management, waste services or resource recovery
- Extensive leadership experience and strong communication skills
- Experience in leading significant change, cultural transformation and innovation at an organisational or major function level
