**Personal Assistant to Unit Director, Hospital in the Home**
**About Monash Health Community**
The Community Program is operationally responsible for working with clients of all ages, within their communities, by providing a continuum of healthcare services. The Program works closely with other Monash Health programs, such as Rehabilitation, Aged and Paediatrics, to identify and connect clients with appropriate services; avoiding hospital presentations and enabling clients to live their best lives in their communities. Through the Hospital in the Home and Residential In-Reach services, acute hospital walls extend to people's homes.
Monash Health Community proactively supports our community to improve and maintain health, independence and well-being by coordinating and/ or providing integrated, multidisciplinary care across multiple settings within the local community. Our aim is to empower and prepare clients to self-manage their health and health care. Working with clients across the aged spectrum, Monash Health Community provides a continuum of care, supporting clients through all stages of non-acute care from prevention through to rehabilitation. We provide services that support clients in their homes, community based facilities and dedicated Monash Health Community Health Centres.
**About The Role**:
This role provides administrative and secretarial support to the Unit Director, Adult Hospital in the Home for Monash Health Community. This is a highly visible and respected customer service role which significantly contributes to ensuring that the program runs smoothly. This position is responsible for providing high level confidential support and will interact with a wide range of key stakeholders.
**This position is a permanent Part time role, 1 day per week.**

**_ You will also demonstrate_**
- Previous experience working as an Executive, Personal or administrative assistant at Executive level
- Extensive administrative experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable but similar experience in other industries will be considered
- Excellent customer service skills and a high standard of both written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to use initiative and perform tasks independently and be able to work effectively and harmoniously as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and be comfortable prioritising and meeting multiple demands
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of hospital administrative processes and hospital systems (KRONOS, iProc, BEIMS, Riskman, Mercury E-recruit, LanPage, iPM) is desirable
