Overview
IMS is seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander professional on behalf of our government client to join the Aboriginal Development team. This is an identified position under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984. Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants will be considered.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact at the Champion Centre, delivering high-quality customer service while providing administrative support to the Aboriginal Development team and supporting community programs and events.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate front-of-house operations and respond to enquiries
* Support community members to access relevant programs and services
* Assist with planning and delivery of community engagement events
* Build strong relationships with Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
* Uphold governance, confidentiality, and Workplace Health & Safety standards
What You\'ll Bring
* Experience working with Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities
* Customer service and administrative skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
* Current C Class Driver\'s Licence
* National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
