About the Role
We are seeking 2 Administration Officers to join our Risk, Compliance and Enterprise Services team on a full‐time, 4‐month fixed‐term contract. Based in our Melbourne office, this role will support the National Deeds Coordinator. The primary function is to provide administration support for the firm's deeds and closed files processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer the recording and archiving of deeds in line with the firm's processes
* Maintain accurate records in our systems, including details of receipt, packet and matter numbers
* Search, retrieve and send deeds as requested in line with the firm's processes
* Resolve any queries regarding deeds
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with various administrative requests
Qualifications and Experience
* High level of attention to detail
* Experience in the archival process of documentation, including deeds, is advantageous
* Experience in administrative duties
* Highly competent with computers and systems
* Excellent document management skills
* Excellent problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to take initiative to complete tasks
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and possess excellent organisational skills
* Passion for law and desire to work in a collaborative environment
