About The Role
The role of the MCH administration officer is to provide proficient and effective administrative and project support to the Maternal Child Health team. A key component is the provision of quality customer service, promptly attending to emails and to phone calls, supporting families to access appointments and handling health records as per the legislation and council requirements.
Duties
* Provides administrative support to the MCH team,
* Manages appointments and handles client enquiries.
* Receipt of birth notices and maintaining client records
* Often acting as the first point of contact for families and other stakeholders.
* Supports MCH programs
Skills And Experience
* Demonstrated excellent people skills and communication skills
* Experience in office administration within a community environment and/or local government environment.
* Attention to detail
* Experience utilising new computers systems including Child Development Information System (CDIS)
* Understanding of the MCH role within the community

* Complete a National Police Check completed via City of Port Phillip's Provider.
* Evidence of a Working with Children Check (employee type with City of Port Phillip registered as the organisation).
