Join Strait Link as a Graduate Logistics Officer to support shipping terminal operations and gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, safety-critical environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting day-to-day shipping terminal operations, including vessel arrivals, berthing schedules, and cargo movements
* Assisting with container and bulk cargo coordination across quay, yard, and landside interfaces
* Monitoring and reporting on terminal KPIs, turnaround times, and throughput
* Liaising with internal teams, shipping lines, transport providers, and stevedores
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, safety, and cost control
* Assisting with operational planning, documentation, and compliance requirements
* Developing a strong understanding of port safety, environmental, and regulatory obligations
About You
The company is looking for:
* A recent or upcoming degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related discipline
* Strong interest in ports, shipping, or terminal operations
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Well-developed communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and data analysis capability (Excel skills highly regarded)
* A proactive, safety-focused mindset and willingness to work in an operational environment
