Our Surgeon specialises in obstetrics/gynaecology/IVF. And our patients come from a variety of different background and ages. **About You**
As the pivotal and initial member of this new team (you will be provided with appropriate training), you will need to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ensuring our practice runs at its optimum, with strong patient care and an empathetic manner to ensure we display exceptional patient care for our patients in need. You pride yourself on your ability to think outside the square and display initiative.
- Experience using **Clinic to Cloud** - or similar medical software programs to manage our practice calendar and Surgeon's appointments
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner and can-do attitude - a real team player - loves to take initiative and be gatekeeper for our very busy Surgeon
- Managing meet and greet and consulting sessions including uploading appropriate documentation
- Professional appearance and demeanour (with outstanding customer care and strong skill level on all aspects of the Medical Secretarial role)
- Ability to work independently with initiative and also love being part of a team
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail and thrive in implementing systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task, happily being the gatekeeper for our Surgeon, allowing her to do what she does best - being a Surgeon.
- IT Savvy with great troubleshooting skills
- Professionally presented, in person, verbally and written
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing new practice systems - you are the guru of systems and processes including setting up a Practice Handbook
- Setting up consulting rooms and scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Welcoming patients into the practice and answering phone calls in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner.
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times (cannot be overstated), answering queries and explaining timelines.
- Undertaking Theatre bookings and Surgical billing including quoting and processing of payments
- Performing general administrative duties such as scanning, mail sorting, filing and following-up patient enquiries
- Supporting and assisting our Surgeon in a range of administration and ad-hoc tasks.
- Enjoy being flexible to assist our Surgeon and practice
Appropriate above award remuneration based on skills and experience.
**Days/Hours**:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
8:30am till 5:00pm
Tuesday
8:30am till 12:30pm
